An India-Kyrgyzstan joint exhibition entitled "Colours and Weaves in Central Asia" on Indian textiles and handicrafts, was organised by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India through EPCH in coordination with Embassy of India in Bishkek and Government of Kyrgyzstan Resource Centre in Kyrgyzstan of Central Asian Crafts Support Association (CACSARC - kg). Over 100 products of handlooms and handicrafts were selected by designers for display at the show. International Yoga Day 2019

EPCH-FASCO (Fitness and Sports Committee) observed the International Yoga Day (21 June 2019) with envigorating therapeutic yoga sessions at Panch Shila Club, New Delhi, with around 100 exporters and their families; and at Golden Gate Public School, Moradabad, with around 200 exporters and their families. During the one-hour session various breathing exercises and Yoga asanas were performed and their benefits explained to the participants. The objective of the programme was to recognise Yoga as a holistic approach to health and well-being and raise awareness on the benefits of practicing it on a daily basis. International Yoga Day 2019 was also celebarated in Narsapur, Andhra Pradesh and Imphal........more
