Chairman’s Message

                 Dear Fellow Exporters,

I take this opportunity to convey my heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed members of the Committee of
Administration and to our member handicrafts exporters for their trust and confidence in me as the new
Chairman of the Council. I am deeply honoured by this responsibility.

I am pleased to share with you that I am actively pursuing my duties as your representative, in the capacity of
Chairman, EPCH. I have been calling on and meeting our policy makers - Hon'ble Ministers and Senior Govt
Officials, since I have taken the responsibility. I am dedicated to working towards enhancing exports of Indian
handicrafts and achieving higher growth trajectories in the future.

As your Chairman, I've outlined a strategic 'Vision 2025-2035' for EPCH, focused on regional empowerment,
digital transformation and global competitiveness. Our renewed emphasis on inclusive growth and capacity
building reflects the Council's commitment to making India a global leader in handicrafts. At EPCH, we remain
dedicated to driving export growth and transforming the sector through high-level engagements and strategic
                 leadership.

Our sectoral event- IFJAS, the Indian Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Show 2025, is just around the corner. I
extend my best wishes to all participants for a successful and productive show. May this platform be effectively
leveraged to strengthen trade relationships, enhance global visibility, and foster sustained export growth.

In our continued efforts to keep our stakeholders informed and empowered, the Council regularly organises
workshops, seminars, knowledge sessions, skill development initiatives, and design intervention activities across
various clusters. I encourage each one of you to actively participate in these programmes and make the most of
the opportunities they offer. Our Guru Shishya Hastshilp Prashikshan programmes are underway, alongside
design development and capacity-building workshops, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and quality
                 enhancement.

EPCH Helplines have been set up for various departments to facilitate members. I welcome your suggestions
and feedback, and invite you to share your thoughts with me at: chairman@epch.com.
